After almost 10 years of working at the neighborhood level and piloting the city curbside organics recycling program, the organization expanded to promote on change in greater . holds a unique place in our environmental landscape, focusing on , policy and culture shift in , while partnering and collaborating with regional, culturally specific, and national organizations.

Midwest Climate Philanthropy Summit: In this pivotal moment for global climate action, led a collaborate philanthropic gathering to step up our collective ambition in Midwest. We shared a vision for collaborative climate action as well as an assessment of climate advocacy and civic engagement landscapes in region. This event was developed to bring together both long-time Midwest funders as well as those interested in learning more.

REPRESENTED THE RENEWABLE BIOFUELS INDUSTRY WHICH SUPPORTED 14,450+ JOBS, GENERATED $975 MILLION WORTH OF INCOME FOR HOUSEHOLDS, ACCOUNTED FOR NEARLY $1.5 BILLION IN STATE GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT AND CONTRIBUTED $135 MILLION TO TAX ROLLS. COLLABORATED WITH STAKEHOLDERS ON PROJECTS TO SUPPORT EDUCATIONAL, RESEARCH AND OUTREACH INITIATIVES AIMED AT FURTHER BOOSTING THE ECONOMY, PROVIDING RENEWABLE BIOFUEL CHOICES FOR CONSUMERS, INCREASING ENERGY SECURITY AND REDUCING GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS IN THE TRANSPORTATION SECTOR. MADE AND PRESENTED CASE FOR RENEWABLE BIOFUELS TO LAWMAKERS AND STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES.

ORGANIZATIONS PURPOSE IS TO FACILITATE DEVELOPMENT OF INFRASTRUCTURE FOR RETAIL AND WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTION OF HIGHER BLENDS OF A CLEANER, RENEWABLE FUEL TO BENEFIT ENVIRONMENT, ECONOMY, AND ENERGY SECURITY OF UNITED STATES.
