DURING THE YEAR, GRANTS WERE AWARDED TO COLEGIO ANTIGUA FOR THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUNDING FOR WORTHY AND POOR STUDENTS WHO COULD NOT OTHERWISE RECEIVE EDUCATION BEYOND GRADE 6. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED BY THE SCHOOL BY APPLICATION DIRECTLY TO COLEGIO ANTIGUA, WITH HELP IN IDENTIFYING WORTHY STUDENTS BY THEIR REPRESENTATIVE, HARVEY TOLEDO. GRANTS COVER ALL EXPENSES FOR STUDENTS TO ATTEND THE SCHOOL INCLUDING TUITION, EXTRACURRICLAR FEES, LAB FEES, COMPUTER FEES and INTERNET ACCESS, UNIFORMS, STUDENT FIELD TRIPS, TRANSPORTATION AND ANY OTHER EXPENSES DEEMED NECESSARY FOR STUDENTS TO SUCCEED. DURING 2020, THERE WERE EIGHT STUDENTS THAT WERE ABLE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SCHOOLING WITH THE HELP OF THE SCHEID FUND.
