Grants of up to $25,000 to Minnesota nonprofit organizations in eligible counties to promote animal welfare. Funding is intended for projects that benefit cats and dogs, offer emergency services and ongoing support of regional animal care centers, and address cruelty and fighting, puppy mills and pet overpopulation, animal research issues, pet adoption, and spay/neuter initiatives. Eligible applicants are located in or serve Cook, Lake, and St. Louis Counties.
