01/31/22 - Deadline for APS/Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities Fellowship for Research in Edinburgh
Grants of up to $6,000 to USA scholars and doctoral graduates for expenses related to non-commercial research in any area of knowledge. Funding is intended to support laboratory research expenses, fieldwork costs, travel to archives and libraries, and the purchase of microfilm, photocopies, and similar research materials.

Franklin Research Grants Project Period:
- January 2021 decision for work in February 2022 through January 2023 (for the October 1, 2021 deadline)
- March 2022 decision for work in April 2022 through January 2023 (for the December 1, 2021 deadline)
APS/British Academy Fellowship for Research in London Project Period:
- A minimum of one and a maximum of two months’ research in the archives and libraries of London during 2022.
APS/Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities Fellowship for Research in Edinburgh Project Period:
- Between two and four months for research in Edinburgh in the calendar year 2022.
