Grants of up to $5,000 to Minnesota nonprofit organizations for programs that address the needs of eligible communities. Interested applicants must submit a letter of intent prior to applying. Funding is intended to support projects in the areas of education, arts, environment, community and economic development, and human services. Funds must serve residents of Eveleth, Leonidas, and Fayal.
The Eveleth Area Community Foundation funds are granted for initiatives that meet the changing needs of the local community. The Advisory Board may, from time to time, emphasize one area over another when emerging needs or opportunities require special attention.
Within the five areas, priority will be given to projects that meet some or all of these criteria:
